Put Your Head On My Shoulder: Episode 1

Introducing a new series before I complete the other one? Yup, that’s pretty much how I roll around here. But in all honesty, this series is just too cute to pass up. I started watching it when it first aired and just immediately fell in love with it. It’s a recently completed Chinese web series following Situ Mo, or Mo Mo as her friends call her, and Gu Wei Yi. They are played by Xing Fei and Lin Yi respectively.

While it is a romance series, our characters and their friends navigate their futures as they’re about to graduate from college and enter the real world. The description on the internet tells us that there are going to be cohabitation hijinks that ensue in the future between Mo Mo and Wei Yi but other than that doesn’t tell us much. But if there’s anything about Chinese series, it’s that the opening scene really gives us a lot to look forward to.

But our first episode, like all first episodes, dives us into the world in which these characters live and their already existing relationships and friendships. Our leads meet each other for the first time and well look at that, they don’t hate each other or anything. They get along like civilized people striking up a friendship because of an accident.

There’s not much else I can say about the first episode other then that it does set us up for some things in the future, planting the seeds of the storylines that are about to come.

Accidentally in Love: Episode 18

If I were to say just one thing about this episode, it’s that it’s probably my favorite one out of the bunch. I just love all of Feng and Qingqing’s interactions and especially her helping him conquer his fears. Seeing them work together just warms my heart and that’s probably why this episode tops my list. It also gives us a chance to hear one of my favorite songs of the drama, Star, sung by Guo Junchen, or Situ Feng.

But all of my biases aside, we’re shown that with just a little bit of trust and faith, even the unconquerable seems conquerable and maybe with that, the last of our walls have cracked.

Accidentally in Love: Episode 17

First let me just say that I apologize for posting this so late. Things were hectic at the end of the year and the beginning of this and I’ve been meaning to put this up earlier but just never got to it, so I apologize! But we still basically have half of this series to go, so let’s keep going!

Revelations come as Qingqing learns exactly what happened all those years ago and also learns some of the reasons behind Feng’s behavior at some points. With our characters acknowledging the past now maybe there is some hope for them to move on in the future…well maybe for some of them at least.
