Good news comes to the bank and it looks like things are looking up career wise for Yu Heng. The department gets rewarded for their efforts with a company approved team bonding trip, but like all trips, surprises await our characters and not all are necessarily good.
We get to spend a little bit of time with all three relationships this episode as they all experience their own issues. Qi Yu and Wei Yi have to come to an understanding about their relationship and the way in which they view money. After a moment of vulnerability, Rao Jing and Fang Gang find themselves drawn closer as they decide to take the leap. Finally, Xiao Ning and Yu Heng are met with probably the strongest outside force against their relationship, Yu Hui. But there’s nothing wavering the strong force of Yu Heng and Xiao Ning’s relationship, we can be assured of that.
Yu Heng continues his quest to get the Weiji Group as a Dairui client and Xiao Ning is also working on her client list. But how long will the good times last when the one person who is always out for Xiao Ning finds out about their secret romance?
Work continues to progress smoothly and Xiao Ning finally gets the one thing she’s been waiting for. It’s a time for celebration as everyone begins looking to the future and figuring out their long-term career goals. We’re entering the final stretch of episodes, 10 episodes left with 1 epilogue, so it’s time we start getting back to focusing on their work.
We get a little back and forth today between Ami and Manatsu as Manatsu is coming to terms with his growing feelings for Ami. Thankfully, it doesn’t actually take him too long to realize just how much Ami might be starting to mean to him, even if he wants to playfully disguise it.
We have a heavy episode ahead of us as tragedy strikes our couple. There’s no shortage of tears as everyone learns how fleeting life can be and how important it is to capture the present and to do the things that truly make you happy. It’s an emotional episode for all, but like Rao Jing says, the living have to keep moving on.
Xiao Ning and Yu Heng get some well needed family time with Yu Heng’s mother. The trip to visit his father’s grave is also a time for healing for Yu Heng as he and his mother confront some of the issues of the past in hopes that they’re able to move forward to a brighter tomorrow.
Ami and Manatsu continue getting to know one another and Ami is now determined to make him like her, and actually say it with his words. This episode is a fun game of back and forth between the two and the question is, who will be the one to come out on top?
Xiao Ning and Yu Heng do some self-reflecting and Xiao Ning learns a little more about Yu Heng in the process from his mother. Nothing can truly keep our couple down as every moment is a learning opportunity. We also see another relationship getting closer to materializing, but if we’ve learned anything about Rao Jing up until this point, Fang Gang definitely has his work cut out for him.
Life begins to get a little difficult for Xiao Ning and Yu Heng as they find themselves slowly wrapped up in their own problems. They’re both feeling the pressure being put on them by external forces, but also from themselves as they do their best to work through their situations without burdening the other person. It really becomes a lose-lose situation for all, let’s just hope that we’re able to work through it.
