We’ve essentially hit the halfway point of this series. The Chinese New Year wraps up with everyone in good spirits, but reality soon settles in for Xiao Ning as she learns that the banking world isn’t always kind and that sometimes hard work doesn’t mean success. But still, if there’s anything we’ve learned, it’s that she has a good support system around her that’s willing to help wherever and whenever they can.

The business trip is over, normal life has resumed, and our lovely couple is finding it harder to keep their distance from each other, even when they’re at work. But they’re not the only ones who suddenly find themselves inseparable in the office as even Fang Gang finds himself drawn to Rao Jing. It’s a lighthearted and easy episode for everyone involved, with some good times sprinkled in.

Xiao Ning and Yu Heng continue to take steps forward in their relationship, yet they aren’t the only ones who are steadily moving towards something. We have the beginnings of what just might be another relationship on our hands as well. It’s an exciting time as this business trip away from the office gives everyone the chance to learn more about each other beyond the office.

The sweet moments between our couple continue as they spend their first couple of days apart from each other since they entered this relationship. However, as Xiao Ning and Yu Heng continue on their romantic journey, it seems like Yu Hui is starting to become more of a nuisance at work, giving Xiao Ning more problems. Thankfully, though, it seems like Xiao Ning has a great support system around her, she has people that are willing to help her and protect her and that’s really all anyone needs.

It’s the New Year and everyone seems to be starting off on the right foot. The New Year is a time for new beginnings as everyone seems to be taking steps forward and moving along in their lives. We get a lot of sweet in this episode, not just by Yu Heng and Xiao Ning but there’s also Wei Yi and Qi Yu and perhaps even a little bit of a new couple alert in Fang Gang and Rao Jing?

Xiao Ning and Yu Heng are able to clear the air a little between them as their relationship continues to develop. It seems like the two of them are starting to fall into a rhythm with each other and it’s only a matter of time before they continue to take the next steps in their relationship.

There’s a lot of back and forth in this episode as Xiao Ning and Yu Heng begin to navigate their relationship with the introduction of Yu Hui. There are plenty of unspoken feelings and assumptions being made on both ends about the other person and their potential feelings, but we can only hope that the two of them find the best ways to communicate with each other to resolve their feelings without this growing into something more.

We get introduced to our first hijinks as Yu Heng and Xiao Ning attempt to keep their secret relationship a secret from those in the company as they come a little too close to home. But for every good thing that starts happening, some items from the past start resurfacing and might begin to cast some seeds of doubt in this relationship.

Our couple seem to have passed by the first barrier and are on their way to becoming a full-fledged couple. It seems like they’re finally on the same page about how they want to navigate their relationship when it comes to their relationship itself but also their work. It’s nice to see them start to be united on the same page and learning more about each other.
